The Lynchburg College School of Education and Human Development provided 45 hams, as well as various other meal items, as a gift to students and their families during the school’s winter family dinner and celebration event. The LC School of Education asked the larger Lynchburg College community to donate canned goods to help make complete dinners for Fort Hill families, and the response was overwhelming from faculty, staff, students, and various student organizations, especially Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor Society and the Health Promotions majors. The School of Education faculty and staff also donated money to provide fruit and other stocking stuffers.
The Lynchburg College School of Education and Human Development has a strong partnership with Fort Hill Community School throughout the school year.
