Caroline Guske has being selected as a Soprano I Delegate to the 2016 Virginia Honors Choir. This prestigious group is made up of only 130 outstanding senior vocalists from the entire Commonwealth of Virginia. Auditions were held at Longwood University in October. Each candidate performed a difficult Baroque piece followed by 8 measures of sight-reading for the judges. An honorable mention goes out to Emily Pawlas, another Glass candidate, for making the highest Soprano II score in Virginia Music Educators Association District VI. The select group of delegates will rehearse for two days with a guest conductor before being featured on the closing session of the Virginia Music Educator's Association Conference on Saturday, November 19 at the Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Virginia.
