Lynchburg City Schools (LCS) Director of School Nutrition Beth Morris was elected president of the School Nutrition Association of Virginia (SNA-VA), starting on Aug. 1, 2026. Throughout her year-long term, she will lead the nonprofit organization’s strategic initiatives and serve more than 1,500 school nutrition professionals across the Commonwealth.
SNA-VA works to promote quality school nutrition programs, provide educational opportunities, and impact regulatory and legislative issues. It is a state affiliate of the national SNA, which represents nearly 50,000 members and has been advancing American school nutrition programs since 1946.
Morris has been a member of SNA since 2001. This new chapter represents her continued commitment to uplifting school nutrition programs in Virginia.
“I’m honored to lead professionals across the Commonwealth in our shared work to support student success through high-quality nutrition. As president, I look forward to listening, learning, and serving alongside my fellow members as I strive to promote excellence and innovation in school nutrition,” Morris said.
