At a Community Town Hall meeting on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026, Lynchburg City Schools (LCS) proposed goals and objectives for the division’s next five-year strategic plan. Community members shared their feedback to help shape the future of our schools.

The strategic plan will serve as a roadmap to guide decision-making, priorities, and investments across LCS from 2026-2031. Community input is a critical part of this process, and we are committed to building a plan that reflects the needs and goals of those we serve.

Did you miss the town hall? It’s not too late to provide your feedback. Students, staff, families, and community members are invited to complete an online survey, which will close on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.

Fill out the survey today!

Responses will help inform LCS decisions and priorities as we create our strategic plan for the next five years. Learn more about the strategic planning process here.
