On Jan. 25, 2025, Lynchburg City Schools (LCS) strings students in grades 7-9 auditioned in Charlottesville for placement in the South Central West Junior Regional Orchestras (JROs). An impressive 63% of LCS students who auditioned were accepted, comprising 26.5% of all JRO participants. 

The JROs will practice and perform together on March 14-15 at Patrick Henry High School in Roanoke, VA. Congratulations to the following 25 students, who were accepted into either the A or B orchestra:
