Three E. C. Glass High School students attended the state SkillsUSA Leadership Conference and Skills Championship in April and placed in the top three in their event:
Carson Wood - 1st place - Related Technical Math
Caleb Slaughter - 2nd place - Technical Drafting
Nathan Hansen - 3rd place - Architectural Drafting
Carson Wood will advance to the National SkillsUSA Leadership Conference and Skills Championship in June in Louisville, Kentucky.
FCCLA
Also, several Culinary Arts students showcased their skills at the FCCLA State Leadership Conference this month as well. Students earned four-year renewable scholarships in addition to numerous medals and awards.

Auguste Escoffier Award for Excellence in Culinary Arts - awarded to three participants in the Live Arts event who demonstrate competitive graciousness, resourcefulness, motivation and resilience, and team spirit, among other things.
Skylar Carter - 1st place; $5000 scholarship to the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts.
All scholarships are four-year renewable scholarships.
