Lynchburg City Schools (LCS) is seeking volunteers to serve on the Superintendent’s Parent Advisory Committee for the 2026-27 school year. This newly updated program will ensure family voices are represented in LCS strategic and operational planning.

Made up of parent representatives from each school, it will facilitate two-way communication between families and LCS leaders. Representatives will share collective input from their school communities, identify growth opportunities, discuss concerns, and help develop solutions that improve educational outcomes for students.

LCS is seeking one Primary Representative and one Alternate Representative from each school. Representatives must attend three in-person meetings and actively gather feedback from families at their schools. They will be expected to participate consistently and approach discussions about school and division topics collaboratively.

Parents and guardians can apply here by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026.
