Upcoming E. C. Glass (ECG) vs. Heritage (HHS) high school basketball games have been rescheduled.
Varsity
- Jan. 22: Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball | ECG at HHS - The varsity E. C. Glass vs. Heritage basketball games at Heritage, previously planned for Tuesday, Jan. 27, have been rescheduled for Thursday, Jan. 22.
- Jan. 27: Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball | HHS at ECG - The varsity Heritage vs. E. C. Glass basketball games at E. C. Glass, previously planned for Thursday, Jan. 15, have been rescheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 27.
Junior Varsity
- Feb. 5: Boys and Girls JV Basketball | ECG at HHS - The JV E. C. Glass vs. Heritage basketball games at Heritage, previously planned for Tuesday, Jan. 27, have been rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 5.
- Feb. 11: Boys and Girls JV Basketball | HHS at ECG - The JV Heritage vs. E. C. Glass basketball games at E. C. Glass, previously planned for Thursday, Jan. 15, have been rescheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 11.
For each of these games, the girls' team will play at 5:30 p.m., and the boys' team will play at 7 p.m.
Additional athletic events may also be postponed due to this shift in the schedule. E. C. Glass and Heritage families should stay tuned for more information from the athletic directors.
Know Before You Go
You may notice an increased police presence at the varsity games. We’re taking this additional security measure out of an abundance of caution to ensure a safe and fun game experience for all.
Fans will be required to undergo a metal detector screening upon arrival. Only clear bags are allowed, and all bags will be subject to search.
Here’s what to know before you go:
- Make sure bags don’t contain any prohibited items, such as artificial noisemakers, full-size strollers, chairs, stools, or weapons. See the full list of prohibited items here.
- Arrive early to snag a seat. For games at E. C. Glass, overflow parking will be available in the student parking lot off Langhorne Road.
- All students should remain seated during games. Roaming the gym is not permitted.
- Spectators must cheer athletes and teams on respectfully, follow instructions from school staff, and report any unsafe or inappropriate behavior immediately.
- Exit the gym promptly after the game. It will close 15 minutes after the game ends.
