What: Preschool Community Playgroups sponsored by Lynchburg City Schools and Lynchburg Parks and Recreation through a community partnership
When: 10:00-11:30 a.m., every Wednesday and Friday (according to the LCS school calendar—September 8, 2021 through May 25, 2022)
Where: Daniel’s Hill Neighborhood Center, 317 Norwood Street
Who: All preschool children (all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult)
What Your Child will Experience at Playgroup?
It’s a chance for you to learn how to be your child’s first teacher and to connect with other families while your child has socialization with other preschool-aged kids. Plus, it’s FREE!
A learning routine to include:
- Large Group Time: Storytelling, singing, dancing, musical instruments
- Learning Centers: Art, block play, pretend play, toys, and books
- Plus snack time and outdoor time (weather permitting)
