The Heritage High School YOVASO Club attended the 2016 YOVASO Summer Leadership Retreat at JMU in June. The HHS club received the Impaired Driving Prevention Award for their efforts, which included having Sugar Ray Dyke, a Heritage graduate and victim of a drunk driving crash that left him paralyzed and the only survivor, come to the school to speak to juniors and seniors before prom.
