Heritage High School is having its second annual Art Show and Book Release Party this Friday, May 4th, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Light Wings Gallery at 849 Belmont Street in Lynchburg.
For the second year Heritage is releasing its new children's book and the HHS Literary Arts Magazine, Avant Garde. They will have on display illustrations from the new children's book, An Acorn Adventure, written by senior Joseph Link and illustrated by HHS student artists. Artwork from the magazine will be on display as well.
This is a First Fridays art event, so patrons can park, see the show and catch the trolley to other galleries in Rivermont or downtown. The trolley is free for this event.
