Pioneer Theatre Class Wins District Competition

Heritage High School’s Acting II Class took first place at the Virginia High School League District Theatre Competition. Six schools competed at Jefferson Forest High School in early November for the title of District Champion. Heritage High School performed the original one-act play “Fire.” HHS Seniors Sarah Lewis and Anne Bradstreet won “All-District” acting awards during the competition.

The Pioneer ensemble will now travel to Turner Ashby High School in Harrisonburg the weekend of November 11, 2011 for the Region III competition and a chance to advance to the state competition to be held in Charlottesville in early December.
