Meal Accommodations

Schools participating in a federal school meal program, such as the National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program, Special Milk Program, and/or Afterschool Meals Program, are required to make reasonable accommodations for children who are unable to eat the school meals because of a disability that restricts the diet.

Meal Charge Policy

All students have access to a nutritious breakfast and lunch each school day. No student will ever be denied a school meal. It is the parent/guardian's responsibility to make sure that a student has adequate funds to pay for school meals. School Board Policy EFZ outlines the division's procedures for handling student meal debt.
