All students at Paul Munro Elementary participate in weekly Spanish lessons.

First-Fifth Grades

Each year, special enrichment programs are offered to students. Spanish is one of our most popular offerings!

Second through fifth grade students are invited to participate in the After-School Tutorial Program to strengthen reading and math skills. Transportation is provided.

Kindergarten-Fifth Grade
Students participate in beginning and intermediate violin instruction before, during and after school. Students perform at a variety of business partnerships and community events.

Second-Fifth Grades
Selected students participate in activities that enhance their learning and provide academic challenge. Selected students are chosen to participate in music and art enrichment activities to enhance and develop their talents.

Kindergarten-Fifth Grade
Students write, illustrate, and bind their own books. Fifth grade students may write an essay on a given topic.

Kindergarten-Fifth Grades
This program is sponsored by VEMA to promote reading of high quality books.

Fifth Grade Students
Fifth grade students are selected for safety patrols. Two students are nominated to be technology co-captains to assist in the computer labs.

Kindergarten-Fifth Grade
Students are provided several opportunities throughout the year to participate in local, regional, and national art contests.

Fifth grade students are selected to work the sound board and other equipment used to broadcast the live morning television daily news to the classrooms. All fifth grade students have the opportunity to be morning hosts for a week. After everyone has been on the air, they have a second opportunity to be hosts again.
