Lynchburg City Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability or age, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
All LCS Summer Food Service Program sites are OPEN SITES, offering meals to all children 18 and younger at no cost. Children may choose to eat meals at a designated area on site or pick-up meals to take with them. Parents or guardians may pick-up meals for their children at any summer feeding site. If the child is not present, the adult will be required to sign for the meals.
Starting on Monday, June 13, LCS will offer curbside grab & go meals at E. C. Glass High School, Linkhorne Middle School and Heritage High School. Breakfast and lunch will be available for pick-up by children or parents/guardians at these 3 sites.
