Message from Mrs. Steele, Principal and Amanda Rumore, PTO President

The next PTO meeting will take place tonight, Monday, March 8th, at 7:00 p.m. on Zoom. Please check your email for the link. All BHS parents and guardians are invited to join. We will be providing updates on the Read-A-Thon and Yearbook sales as well as general school announcements from Principal Steele.

We are very excited about our HYBRID students in Grades K-2 returning to in-person learning 4 days a week beginning on Tuesday, April 13!

Your child’s teacher will be contacting you this week to discuss the details and answer any questions.

Remote students will stay remote, so the teachers will only be contacting current hybrid students. Hybrid students in Grades 3-5 will continue with Cohorts A and B until a date is determined for their return 4 days a week. It will be some point AFTER K-2 adjusts to returning 4 days.  As always, you can reach out to the teachers or email me at [email protected] with any questions.

We have had an INCREDIBLE first week of our Bedford Hills Read-A-Thon! Our students have read 30,304 minutes and we have 362 generous sponsors so far! Read-A-Thons get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more. You can visit this link to set up your child’s page and send emails to friends/family: https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/AQmbrY

Our Wednesday (3/10) and Friday (3/12)  theme is “Husky Team Spirit Day- Wear Your Favorite Team Jersey or Husky Wear.” Follow our “Bedford Hills Elementary School PTO” pages on Facebook and Instagram for awesome updates, videos from community leaders and spirit day photos!
