The Lynchburg City School Board will meet the first Tuesday of each month beginning at 5 p.m. in the Board Room at the School Administration Building located at 915 Court Street, unless otherwise noted.

Public Access
School Board meetings are streamed live on YouTube and are available online on the LCS YouTube channel.
Public Comments
In accordance with Policy BDDHZ, members of the community are invited and encouraged to attend meetings of the Lynchburg City School Board to observe its deliberations. Any member of the community may address the Board on matters related to the Lynchburg City public schools at any regular meeting.
Persons or groups wishing to address the School Board may do so by choosing one of the following:
- Leave a voice message on the school board clerk's phone line at (434) 515-5092. Messages will be played during the public comment section of the School Board meeting.
- Address the board in person during the public meeting.
Persons desiring to address the School Board by voicemail message shall submit the voicemail to the school board clerk no later than 3:30 p.m. on the day of the board meeting. Persons desiring to address the School Board in person shall contact the clerk of the School Board no later than 3:30 p.m. on the day of the board meeting or by signing the Public Comment Form which shall be available to the public 15 minutes before the meeting starts. Each person requesting to speak shall identify the subject they want to address and, if the speaker represents a group, the speaker must identify the group.
